I just learnt about apt's cache, so I rolled libgjs0b back to 0.7.11-1
and gnome-shell is working again.

gnome-shell did start with --replace from a terminal, but won't start at
login using the Ubuntu package (which isn't really that surprising). So
I do think the problem is in libgjs0b, but using the Ubuntu package as a
temporary replacement isn't a work-around.

I downgraded libgjs0b to 0.7.11-1ubuntu1 and gnome-shell starts again.

no-longer load after a restart.
The only packages that changed were gjs and libgjs0b.
