It seems that %APP% in /usr/lib/icedove/defaults/pref/all-thunderbird.js
is
not properly positionned to icedove instead of thunderbird. When I try
to
browse addons for example it goes to
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/icedove instead of
subclipse work in debian only when the java package is openjdk and not
gcj (eclipse test both in this order when starting)
Perhaps that a specific dependance will be needed.

After looking around for an answer about downloading new pear packages
into /usr/local/share and using pear debian package to be sure things
are distinct and because I tend to prefer to have manually installed

I saw on this page that there are about three ways to compile amaya
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/User/Autoconf.html
Compiling with GTK+ seems not so interesting because of the SVG
support...
But for now as I've seen on the debian rules file, amaya is compiled
with this option :
--with-wx --with-gl

I think the severity should be bumped... as now it is now in the official
update of sarge and this upgrade should not enter the official 3.1r1
release as it is a severe regression of functionnality...
If you have been hit by this very serious bug like me... you can remove
the package, commenting
