I do not use Kino that much, but just recently started up to
convert DV to DVD's. If I have two scenes and attempt to create
an audio (cross fade) and video (dissolve) transition between the
two, Kino crashes with a seg fault. The Overwrite se

I can confirm the initial report of this bug (#418166) on my Sid
machine, upgrading today (4/7/07). My output is similar to that given
in the original report, and I too have no idea how to deal with it. I

I get the same problem (overwriting ar from another package).
It seems to have disappeared after rerunning apt-get dist-upgrade
2 or 3 times, with a dpkg --configure --pending initially after
the first halt. Weird.

I just upgraded tonight my Sid system, and found that print jobs
sent through cups-pdf (printpdf) failed to create a file in my
home directory. I tried a direct job...

Further information about the disk problems:
On reexamining the partitioniing of my disk, I found it laid out as
hda1primary NTFS
hda5logical FAT32
hda3primary ext2
hda6logical swap
hda7logical Linu
with both some unused space at the end of the HD (original situation) and
when that space had been converted into a Linux partition using cfdisk from
the Debian system.
The system information below does not pertain to that machine. Please
let me know what other information is necessary!
