In the "Settigs for profile ..." dialog box of users-admin
the text that should say "Maximum GID" says "Minimum GID".
The patch below should fix this.
To access this dialog box, start users-admin and choose
Add User, Advanced

ttle surprised that no version of emacs
seemed to be included in the "desktop installation" (don't remember
the exact wording) of tasksel. I guess that there is a good reason
for this.
