To reproduce: create 32767 pixels width PNG image, open it with eom (mate image
viewer). Try to resize eom window, X server will crash, lightdm login screen
appears lately.

Some time after changing /etc/fonts/fonts.conf the problem completely
returned, without any actions from me. Later I realized
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf is not the one to blame here, so I can't
understand why that edit to it happened to fix the problem
temporarily.
Today I found the true reason of the

Upgrading from 2.9.0-7 to 2.10 or 2.11 doesn't prompts to change
/etc/fonts/fonts.conf and doesn't point to possible problem with keeping old
fonts.conf version, although comment in the file says "IT WILL BE REPLACED
I have found solution for this trouble.
We just have to add -lSDL_image to g++ parameters (or to LDFLAGS
variable in Makefile).
It seems like newbie's mistake, but it isn't: my LDFLAGS contained
`paragui-config --libs` and I completly trusted to it's output. But
`paragui-config --libs` doesn't prin

bad of course, but xorg should say about it with some other phrases...
I think, people who still have this bug should run something like
profiler for xorg process to locate this place in code. Anyway, corg
developers interested in this.
