the 6 steps do not work for me, instead I remove the extensions related
file in the profile folder ( extensions directory,extensions.rdf,
extensions.cache,extensions.ini) before running 2.0 icedove works for
me. Maybe because it do not trigger checking for extensions update.

I have the same problem as #358859 on using module-assitant with
linux-headers-2.6.18-3. The package is missing
include/linux/(version.h|utsrelease.h) which is checked by module-assistant for
valid kernel source direc
oops. Just found out the same cause as Sebastian said, somehow I miss
his thread when I read the bug. I will just keep using vncserver 32bit then.
