Hi all,
The problem can be fixed following these steps:
1. Revert the commit ff8928540e0d720b8a08ee4227c1bbadc2c1e733 (now,
that is the last commit).
2. Apply this patch:
>--- a/Makefile
>+++ b/Makefile
>@@ -118,8 +118,8 @@ endif

legacy C code where all tentative definitions should be placed into a
common block can be compiled with -fcommon.

Package: kde-cli-tools
Version: 4:5.14.5-1
Followup-For: Bug #892601
Dear Maintainer,
'kdesu' in buster is provided by 2 packages (maybe installed at the same time):
1. kde-cli-tools: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kf5/kdesu
2. kde-runtime: /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/kdesu-distrib/k
The problem (xserver crash) can be reproduced by enable/disabling
deinterlace, while playing some video, using Xv driver by
Kaffeine/xine.
Fglrx 12.3 - Debian Squeeze, amd64, kernel 3.3.1, Xorg 1.10.4-1~bpo60+1.
