Hi,
You are absolutely right, it is a bit messy. I am going to consider this
for the next upload.
In fact, I used module-assistant because I thought that this takes care
of all this, but it is not that easy to use.
Cheers, thanks for the report,

Hi,
Sorry for replying that late. I am sorry but I do not have the

I have filed a request for removal against pd-externals, as it has

Hi,
Ok, finally I found the time to look into the problem, and here is
what I found out:
Seems that SoundTouch added a namespace "soundtouch", and the library
version 1.3.0 is not binary compatible anymore.
A solution is to recompile ardour, and to add a small fix:

Please remove pd-externals from unstable.
Justification: The package is not widely used, it is out of date
and buggy (#323986). It is built from a CVS snapshot, which makes
proper maintainance very difficult if not impossible.

Hi,
Thanks for the patch. I am fighting with a changed API for ffmpeg on
unstable though. Did you compile on testing ?

Hi Mario,
The idea is acceptable. I do not currently have the time to implement it.
There is also another obstacle that keeps me from doing it immediately,
which is that I decided to switch to cdbs with snd, but then I don't know
how to build the same package with different configurations with c

Hi,
This is definitely not a bug of x11-common.
I understand both points of view, and emotionally I rather would follow my
Debian feelings.
It is not possible to check if all Debian packages in the world (outside
Debian) are conflicting with the official Debian package.
