Oops, I missed the merge with #654781. I was also able to make the
hangs go away by using a variation on the workaround there: editing
/usr/lib/iceweasel/iceweasel to make its second line be "unset
LD_LIBRARY_PATH". After that, things are fine even with the Shockwave
Flash plug-in enabled.
I've also been running into this with every Iceweasel version since 8.0,
upwards to the 10.0.1 I'm running today. I'm seeing the same freeze in
futex calls already reported by Luc Maisonobe. Never had this class of
issue running the stock Debian Iceweasel in Squeeze, always had it on
every sy

After installing an e-mail certificate into Thunderbird on other Linux systems
(using a certificate and instructions from
http://www.comodo.com/support/products/email_certs in my case), I can normally
use that certificate within
Seahorse lets you put SSH keys into what it shows in the "My Personal
Keys" section in its GUI. But if you try to import a private SSH key
into there using File/Import, telling it the name of an id_rsa file, it
crashes with this sort of error message as already encountered by Philipp:
