the po4a source files for the German man page are at http://fm-r.eu/vim-man/
(no tls yet, maybe that's why it is not under Google's radar). I haven't
updated the page in ages .. so if you would like ;-)
I had it reviewed at debian-l10n-german and submitted it to upstream.

Well, in squeeze, we have vim*/72 and vimhelp-de/72. That's
fine, and won't change, since freeze is squozen.
In sid, we have vim*/73 and vimhelp-de/72. That's bad, but
Meike prepares a 73 one, Heh, that's sid ;-)
I hesitated to file wishlist bug ...

Running testing.
Recently kaffeine/1.0~pre3-3 popped in.
EPG didn't work.
Upgraded to kaffeine/1.0-1, kde4libs/4:4.4.4-1 (from 4.4.3) from sid.
Now EPG working.

Well, I removed the --disable-ncursesw flag in debian/rules, rebuild the
package, and now umlauts show up fine for me ...
