Dear Maintainer,
The current version of hplip seems to come with a non functional

The CUPS print queue is configured using hp-setup and works well.
The scanner is not detecte
Package: sd
Version: 0.75-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
Using sd on testing leads to the following error message on any sd
command (except sd help intro):

The upstream bug report already contains instructions to fix the bug,
which I simply followed to make this patch. Do you think I should
explicitely send the patch upstream?

Dear Maintainer,
OMake "CheckCLib" function uses CFLAGS instead of LDFLAGS to pass link

Package: xchat
Version: 2.8.6-4
Severity: minor
The xchat manual page doesn't list the "--url" option as being accepted
by xchat, and wrongly says that xchat should be invoked in the following
way:
xchat [OPTIONS]... [URL]
This is actually wrong, since the following form doesn't work:

The generated /etc/freevo/debconf.py doesn't have any source encoding

Well, after some investigation, this bug is actually similar to #466412.
To fix it:
* move pythonscript.py to /usr/share/pyshared/ (just like pythonloader.py)
* ln -s /usr/share/pyshared/pythonscript.py
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/

Hi,
I've just encountered the same bug today with OpenOffice2 (2.3.1-5 this
is the current version in testing).
Deleting .openoffice2/user/config/javasettings_Linux_x86.xml as
suggested does the trick : everything now runs fine.
