I can confirm that the sid version of the package fixes the problem. I
checked all of the America/Argentina/* time zones and they all yield
UTC-3 today, which is the correct time zone for all regions of the

I tried older kernels to see if I can find starting from which version
powering off my system after suspend to disk stopped working.
2.6.18 and 2.6.22 both powers off the system, 2.6.24 does not.
I couldn't find a Debian 2.6.23 image to try.
