Hi,
I have encountered this issue with earlier versions of calibre. At long
last I have decided to install calibre from upstream and had no problem.
This is the same version as the debian version.

Cm-super is a large package and it would be better
if texlive-fonts-extra would not depend on it.

Hi,
Perhaps my report was not clear. I have upgraded
from 6.9.0. After the failed upgrade I thought I
will recreate the configuration file, which I did,
but got back the same result.
Anyway, I have attached the xorg log and conf
files.
Thanks,

Because documentaion is mostly compressed, links to their uncompressed
counterparts cannot be followed by xdvi or xpdf. For example:
texdoc TETEXDOC.dvi.gz
and try some links to files within the document.
The same with TETEXDOC.pdf.gz

Start texdoctk and then search for say pdftex.
Choose to view the manual. It fails with file not found.
For me it helps to change to TEXDOCPATH=doc
in texdocrc, and in texdoctk to insert this:

Upgrading from tetex 2.02 to 3.0-2 was met with dependencies issues.
Packages which rely on tex prevented the upgrade. Even when there
were no other packages than tetex upgrade was impossible. My solution
was to purge tetex altogether. Here
