Package: subversion Followup-For: Bug #400099 I have got the same problem. Everything works fine without post-commit hooks. But my post-commit hook file, that worked fine with subversion 1.1.4-2 doesn't work with subversion 1.4.2dfsg1-2~bpo.1. Even if I change it to a minimal test (whoami > /tmp/whoami.out) or comment every line out it doesn't work (the "normal" command is using absolute paths, so this should'nt be the problem.). It only works if I delete the post-commit file. For now I downgraded to subversion 1.1.4-2 again, but I didn't upgrade for nothing. I wanted to get a software package work, which works better with subversion > 1.1 (and there isn't anything between 1.1 and 1.4 in the repositories) With subversion 1.1.4-2 everything works fine.
