Severity: important
The touchpad was correctly detected and working with linux-image-3.14-2-amd64
(version 3.14.15-2). After upgrading to linux-image-3.16-1-amd64 (version
3.16.2-3), the touchpad is not detected. I noticed these lines in dmesg output:

The battery is not detected on an Acer B115-M laptop, and AC Adapter is always
detected as "online", even if unplugged:
:~$ dmesg | grep BAT
[5.214762] ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT1] (battery absent)
:~$ dmesg | grep ACAD
[5.211800]
Package: src:linux
Version: 3.14.12-1

Kernel 3.14-1-amd64 does not boot on laptop Acer B115-M. It stops on "Loading,
please wait" message. The problem is ACPI related, since I can boot adding
"acpi=off" to the kernel line in Grub.
I can boot normally with linux-image-3.2.0-4-a

I don't know for sure if this is probably related to this bug, but it
seems very similar. Using linux-image-2.6.15-1-686 (v. 2.6.15-7) I get
this while loading snd_intel8x0 (both at boot time and manually with
modprobe):
the issue because you don't use UTF-8 locales, and the people

At this point, I don't know if this is a bug, or a missing feature, but
probably you can tell.
As usual, if you need further information, please ask.
