The compiler generates bad code when building the kernel using
gcc-4.1. I'm no expert at Sparc assembler syntax, but it seems
to be wrong.
This is from the assembler list file generated by gcc-4.1 when
compiling (-O2) /usr/src/linux/net/netf

Hi,
This is my first ever debian bug report, so please be kind :-)
I fail to build a cross-platform binutils when building from

Hi all,
I'm sorry for the lengthy delay! I've been reading up on the Debian
Policy and the Developers Guide while trying to get a grip on the
toolchain-source package. A task not to be taken lightly! :-)

OK, you should contact "Nikita V. Youshchenko" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, he's
the one that got the gcc 3.3 och gcc 3.4 source packages to produce
wokring corsscompilers.
I will contact him as soon as I've read through all the (relevant)
documentation about package maintenance

Hi,
I saw at debian.org that you feel you don't have the time needed to
maintain the toolchain-source binutils and gcc package. I might be
