I agree with Christoph Kling, this bug renders this package unusable for me
after upgrading to Squeeze. I can (and will) apply the patch but that is
clearly suboptimal.

When I start a KDE session from qingy, the stuff I have in .kde/Autostart
does not run. It's a pain as I have ssh-askpass and that kind of stuff in
there.

I downgraded both mount and nfs-kernel-server to the etch versions. I
still got the "RPC can't connect" kind of message. Then I realized that
cfsd had crashed. When I restarted it, I could get to my CFS partition
again. Hope this info helps someone.

"forward-ported" etch's mount and it did not fix CFS.

I upgraded from Etch to Lenny and can no longer mount my CFS filesystem.
For other reasons I ended up booting back into 2.6.18 from Etch and it
doesn't seem to have helped. Please let me know if there is anything I can
do to help debug
I did a fresh install of Lenny using amd64 instead of x86, and I've been
having no issues with this configuration. So while I don't know what
was causing the problems previously, I can run Lenny on this machine and
I'm happy.

apologize for the wasted time. I was interpreting that as the setpoint,
not the current temp. I realized (after coffee this morning ;-)) I could

"mount" required manual intervention, which basically stopped the "aptitude
dist-upgrade" path completely. The problem seemed to be that it required
nfs-common to be upgraded first, and when I did "aptitude install
nfs-common" that required new packages

issue.

I installed linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 on my etch system to try and help vet
it a bit. I immediately had two problems that look network related. The
first was that xterms I opened on another local machine were garbled so
badly th

I can try copying my album directories to a local drive, but obviously this
is at best a temporary solution and is probably not as easy a workaournd as
running with strace.
