I got it working partly. With this patch (yes, stdlib include I put for gcc 4.x here) it works if USE_SCHEDULER is set to an valid ip address. It seems there are some changes in iceccd which cause our problem. The icemon does not got the ip address of the scheduler. If given I can force to check
