Here is the Syslog information when trying a manual reconnect after the
connection dies. At this point the PC needs to be rebooted before a new
connection can be established with the CDMA modem.

Problem: When an EVDO (CDMA Modem) connection is interuptted network manager
fails to reconnect the device until a reboot is done. When trying to
manually reconnect the device, the modem dials for a few seconds and then
