Followup to my original bug: Instead of random green screens I get a
consistent sliver of green on the right side of any video played with
mplayer. I experimented with setting VideoRam in my xorg.conf with no
discernable differenc

I'm running swapspace because the swap partition on this box is much too
small (only ~192MB). The problem is, swapspace keeps dying, without any
error messages. It leaves behind the pid file, which I have to delete to
restart it, but after a while
