I compiled cairo-dock-core on Debian unstable and ran it on a KDE
Wayland session. I couldn't satisfy all build dependencies for
cairo-dock-plug-ins, specifically missing "gldi>=3.6.0", so I couldn't
test cairo-dock capabilities properly. Instructions are in [1], some
dependencies packages name
