I would like to confirm this bug and add that on a Sid system, sagemath

I've found a bug in the original patches where it wasn't correctly
dumping an EA block >2^32. The original patch also relied on a cast to a
64 bit value which only worked on little endian and only if the next
four bytes were zero (which they appear to always be)

Another way to fix this is to set the config value manually.
Here is an example of what I did for ubuntu:
FROM ubuntu:noble
RUN echo "MIRRORSITE=http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu"; > /etc/pbuilderrc
RUN apt-get update && apt-get install -y pbuilder
Similar should work on Debian as well.

Recently, I've also hit this bug.
This bug was already fixed in upstream but not released yet.
I hope patch was applied in Debian because it breaks idempotence.
