Currently libevent FTBFS when compiled in new architectures that is not
supported on the outdated packag
installing package consolekit solves the problem
Same issue on debian testing with btrfs after update on kernel 3.14 (today).
The suggestion resolution with modifing the modules file of initramfs also
helped me.

Hi Jim,
upstream fixed the problem and I have backported the fix for Debian, so
that it will be included in the next upload.
Until then just disable ScanOnAccess to work around the problem.
