much of the event system.
We hack the message we want to send to the wire directly in the case of
partial writes.
That allows us to keep the buffer in the event system and not block in a

This bug has been fixed in unstable and testing, but it also seems to be
present in the gnucash in stable. My sister had been using gnucash on
stable, but it started crashing. The crashes were fixed by upgrading
gnucash to testing.
