I confirm the problem involving the libjs-jquery and drupal5. The bug
seems to be related to an incompatibillity between the versions of the
drupal5 and libjs-jquery in the testing and unstable releases.

I have the same behavior after upgrading to KDE4 from Squeeze. There was
no issue on KDE3 from lenny. I have tried also to start with clean
profile. I have recent aspell installed.

Although this symptom can be worked around in the alsa-utils initscript,
it really shouldn't be. Instead, it should be fixed in alsa-kernel.
