run lazarus-ide I get very simillar bug to that I get when I try to run winff
or tuxcmd. Aparently freepascal on powerpc is the source of the problem.

I'm not sure, what is responsible for this, but the sessions started on
tty1-5 with qingy don't have LANG set while the normal getty session on
tty6 still has LANG.

sorry I can't reproduce your problem against 1.5.18-6, what I do
is create the same .muttrc is suggested in the link you posted
and hit (a) (accept always), then I quit mutt (q) and start it
again, it doesn't ask again for the certificate and it work
