I'm interested in seeing this package be included in lenny. If there
has not yet been any effort into making this package installable on
ia64, or to make it compliant with the new python policy, I'd be happy
to work on getting it there.

stopping and starting hald (/etc/init.d/hal stop or start) then
rerunning dselect (to clear up the failed-config status, which failed)

This core is running with glibc 2.7 but it was compiled with glibc
2.6.1.
This can lead to unexpected behaviour. Consider compiling the core
yourself
or getting a binary compiled with glibc 2.6.1.
