The problem here is directory-to-symlink changes.
Because 2.0.0.0 has /usr/lib/icedove/{chrome,defaults,greprefs} as symlinks
where 1.5 had directories, I end up with empty directories after upgrading,
and get a segfault. Replacing these with symlinks to the equivalents in
/usr/share/icedove
Is there a particular reason that we need this vsnprintf implementation?
Could we just use the one included in libc?
If libc's implementation is satisfactory, a patch is attached that uses
it. Note that this is not the only bug present:
