I agree with Ron - I have Gnome on my box as well as wmaker, and it's
only in wmaker that I see the (annoying) broken behaviour. Hence it's

preinst script is wrong. It is '2.6.0-1', which never existed... I think

I wanted to use option keypad:comma by adding it to XKBOptions, but this
didn't work until I applied the attached patch. There are probably a lot
of such options that are missing from rules/xorg...

About 3 years ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding the
debug XFree86 server frequently crashing unless NoAccel is set. Did you
reproduce this problem recently? If not, I will close this bug in the
next weeks.
