Hey kfreebsd, thanks for all the work on this amazing project.
Have you ever considered using openbsd as a base instead? maybe also
collaborate with HyperbolaBSD project?

doesn't fix the problem at all. I tried to find some documentation, but
I failed miserably. I don't know much about autotools, so any help

It seems that it's enabled, in config.h:
/* Enable GNU extensions on systems that have them. */
#ifndef _GNU_SOURCE
# define _GNU_SOURCE 1
#endif
So I'm a bit puzzled.

Can you show us a debdiff for the package you intend to upload to

Yves-Al
now. In this case, the FTBFS
seems more due to kfreebsd than netload (it was building fine before).
So there is no more net/ppp_defs.h and net/if_ppp.h in freebsd 8? Is
there a porting guide or something?
Doing a search for freebsd + net/ppp_defs.h returns as first result this
one bug report so…
Cheers,

Any idea how to fix that?

I definitely can add something like that, but did you have a chance to do an
actual test on kFreebSD?
