Hello,
When I try to login from gdm, the login hangs right after i type my
password.
the clock icon is moving for long periods of time and i need to reboot.
after a number of tries i am able to login.
is this a known bug or i need to config something?

And do you know which desktop environment gdm is trying to start?

I don't think ZFS matters here.
I'm not familiar with running GNU/kFreeBSD 6.0.5 on a desktop system. I
would guess that XFCE works better than Gnome on that version.

Actually the "mouse" driver causes my xorg-server to segfault, on
freshly installed Wheezy kfreebsd-9 9.0-1-amd64. I had to create a
xorg.conf with:
