Dear FTP Masters,
For a while, openjdk-7 was the default JDK on kfreebsd-*. That allowed
eclipse-cdt to build. But this is no longer the case. Java packaging
policy doesn't allow to depend on a non-default Java.
Therefore, please could the out-of-date eclips

Hi guys
Look for the IDLE and Eclipse on kFreeBSD...
IDLE almost freezes when I try to open a file, the edit window can't be
closed and the name of the file isn't on top of window.
Eclipse...well, I have eclipse-cdt installed and I can't create any
project, including java project

and others, that can't build with gcj?
I think

We can't build it until after the openjdk-7 transition, I'm afraid.
Speaking of which, what's the current status? AFAICT -release said it
doesn't require their explicit approval?

Hi,
I just got Eclipse working on kfreebsd-amd64. It required a small change
plus switching the default Java implementation to openjdk-7.
I was about to send bug reports with these patches, but since I'm so
totally disconnected from the current state of things (Sorry about that.
Really) I
