I hadn't seen InitNG so I can't compare. The license would
be an issue for upstream FreeBSD though (assuming you want
something that is not Debian spec
Hello;
Just passing by, I found very interesting the notes from
the BoF. Since it seems you will be working on a systemd
replacement for other systems, perhaps you will find it
easier to start from launchd, which is free and was
ported to FreeBSD on Google Summer Code.

Hi,
Just FYI, in order to keep their non-profit status the FreeBSD
Foundation needs small donations (less than 8000 US$ each): totaling
30400$ by this New Year.

Sure I will. Please try to preserve the BSD license on the files you modified
too. I noticed some files are GPL'd now but as lon

Hi Robert;

Hmm.. my intention was just to let you know how things are done in FreeBSD, I'm
not really into suggesting which ppp you might want to use :).

Hi;
I just wanted to point out that on FreeBSD the default ppp is the userland
ppp by Brian Somers http://www.awfulhak.org/ppp.html .
The preferred kernel interface for pppd is netgraph (see the manpage) and
there is a port of mpd that supports it.
cheers,
Pedro.
