It does not make as much sense to me to make a Debian distribution around the FreeBSD or Darwin kernels, as they are fairly platform specific. That said, both the OpenBSD and NetBSD offer similar portability as the rest of the Debian GNU/Linux currently does. I would put forth that starting with t
