Hi, I think this was due to 656947 (broken soundcard.h meant the configure testcase would fail) and fixed since kfreebsd-kernel-headers 0.66. It builds okay on kfreebsd-i386 when I tried it. Christoph -- could you please requeue soundmodem on the kfreebsd-i386 and kfreebsd-amd64 buildds? Thanks

Hi Christoph, I notice that the python2.7 build on finzi for kfreebsd-i386 has been hung for over 2 days. Probably in test_signal or test_threading which are known to do this sometimes. I'm wondering why it hasn't been automatically killed, as happened during the kfreebsd-amd64 build. Is this h

Hi, I think powerd should be in the default install for kfreebsd-*. This package enables CPU frequency throttling simply by installing it without any setup required, as long as hardware supports this. Most (all?) modern PCs support it (whether laptop or not). Is there any objection? -- Robert
