could somebody please review the GNU/(kFreeBSD||Hurd) parts of [1],
mostly the ˙˙hal restart˙˙ part and the keyboard configuration bits.
Please add also example for HAL-less mode on GNU/kFreeBSD.

The functions that are described by the header files in the package
libbsd-dev seem to be implemented in the packge libbsd0.
"objdump -axdt /lib/libbsd.so.0" shows both humanize_number and flopen
at least on i386

2. /usr/lib/libutil.a is clearly Glibc.
