the just uploaded libbsd_0.0-2 (currently in NEW) dropped
link_addr and link_ntoa functions.
They are referenced within ifconfig and route.
!!! You can lost ability to configure networks interfaces !!!
These functions are also provided by libfreebsd0,
but under different symbol names:

And if I'd like to build a custom kernel and install CD???
The kernel is from kfreebsd-6/kfreebsd-7 source package,
config files are in debian/arch/ subdirectory.
I personally have no experience with creating install CD,
the install CD is a hacked variant of official FreeBSD installer,

In general, there is no difference in Debian GNU/kFreeBSD and
Debian GNU/Linux in this area.
