Speaking about which..
I have a bunch of 7043/150 IBM powerpc (chrp) workstations to test this
on. Is there anything I can download and try?

Yeah fortunately I don't need to bootstrap, I have one of these babies
running woody already. I'll try to build some images.

Well I have a 7043/150 running Woody / sid. But I didn't do the
installation so I don't have much information. My box is a chrp, I believe
yours would be a prep.. Anyway you should drop by #debianppc on
freenode.net to get some help. But it's definitely something that can be
done.

I'm trying to get DI code running for a 7043/150 powerpc box. Since the
kernel image and everything is too big to fit on a floppy, the only
solution is to boot on CD.
After some looking around, I have found the following information:
The CD must have a PReP partition to boot on, and point to a zI

filenames'. I dunno the equivalent for other cd burner frontends or direct
mkisofs call, but you should be able to figure it out from there..
Now I can do boot cdrom:,linux from the OF prompt just fine..

I am getting a lot of this error message when I hit 'Finish setting up the
Debian Installer'. It seems to be harmless though, but it happens.

The only loaded module I have for network access is 3c59x

Hey guys
As a follow up to Tollef Fog Heen's debian-installer status -- 2002-10-14
I decided to try out the new install system and send some feedback. There
is probably some sorting to do, some things are really minor details and
my own opinions on stuff. Some other reflect more general issues.
