Hello,
Some braille devices have a complete AT2 keyboard. Brltty properly
simulates keypresses by passing them to a uinput device. However, that
module is not available in the debian installer, and thus brltty falls
back to simulating keypresses by passing ascii to the tty layer and thus

Hello,
/lib/finish-install.d/05speakup automatically adds the speakup driver
used for installation into /etc/modules so that the installed systems
properly loads the module automatically for the user as soon as first
reboot. However, in case / can not be mounted for some reason (e.g.

Hello,
With the kbd package it is possible to load several fonts so as to take
benefit of the 512 possible different glyphs. For instance, blind
people use this to load a braille font. This is not possible with
console-setup.

Hello,
Here is a patch that adds to installation-guide two accessibility
sections: in the supported hardware section, provide urls to lists
of supported braille displays and speech syntheses, and in the boot
section, document the boot parameters needed to enable accessibility
features.

Hello,
Is there a reason for console-data to contain a duplicate of the
xkb-data content? Couldn't it just build-depend on xkb-data and fetch
data from /usr/share/X11/xkb? That way, updating it would just need a
binNMU.
