Please consider adding this to virtio-modules for the wheezy
branch to complete this (very welcome!) backport.
Thanks!

Subject: [PATCH] Fix lib location and search path for syslinux >= 5
at much easier to do if they first tease apart the
-pxe and -release trees as above in the netboot images themselves.
That probably won't be me, at least not for the next couple of
months, I'm still swamped for the foreseeable future right now,
but I'm happy to stay in the CC fo
e the right
one to me.
Indeed amd64/netboot.cfg has:
BOOT_SCREEN_DIR = $(NETBOOT_PATH)/boot-screens/
Only the ia64 version appears to define or use it how I used it there.
Thanks for actually testing this and sending a fixed patch!
Cheers,
Ron

ted the patch either (and I got buried again
and didn't get to that myself), but I know that what it was _intended_
to do really works, so if it's been tested now, getting it into the
dailies for wider testing seems like a good plan.

I would file a bug report if I knew where to file it, and against what (what
product desciption) to file it.
If you would be kind enough to enlighten me I will do so.

Basically the same error, but in a different place (I'm guessing this is
the error for the second of the four kernel images). Any ideas?

I conclude that the bug is not with the installer, but rather with one
of the packages in the tasks, probably in the laptop task, that is
loaded with the HD boot. Thank you for letting me describe my problem. I
have learned something, and will learn more by the time I have Icedove
