Thanks for getting this job done, Manty!
I've just committed a change to the website to link to the netinst images
on . Am I correct in assuming that these
images are not suited at all for installing woody?
Cheers,
Richard

.template data.
I noticed that /some/ floppy images contain data in their first 1k. It's
not necessary to change these, just the all-zeroes ones cause problems.
Would it be a lot of work to arrange this? You'd do me a great favour!

Changing mke2fs would affect far too many other people, I don't think that
would be a good idea.
I don't know how the floppies are created, but wouldn't it be possible to
change the script that generates them?

d to work
fine after you did the following to the image:
dd if=/dev/random of=image bs=16 seek=63 count=1
Could you please consider doing this for the images?

increasing the window size to 4k would prevent it from finding all .debs
which are smaller than 4k.

DVD sets!
I'm not sure how easy it would be for you (debian-installer folks) to
produce .jigdos for these kinds of images, but this seems the most
straightforward solution. Once debian-installer based images are there, the
testing CD images from other sources are no longer needed.
C
mlinux.org seems to imply that
the extra directory level for the "riscpc" subarchitecture has been
added, so this should be OK...

uld you (or
someone else from debian-boot) give me a list of supported types of cards?
Then I'll update the netinst CD web page.

www.d.o? If so, I can change the netinst page to say that only some cards
are supported, and make the "some cards" a link to the full information.
