What about dropping the "acpi" package from "task-laptop"'s "Recommends" too?
It's just a commandline utility that "Shows information from the /proc or the

Dear Maintainer,
since "acpid" and "acpi-support" packages were dropped
from task-laptop's dependencies in v3.21 (Bug#758762),
it looks like the "acpi" package should be dropped too.

Hi,
I've upgraded keyboard-configuration from 1.88 to 1.92,
and the new version seemed to honor the configs
on upgrade (and on manual 'dpkg-reconfigure' too).

Hi Debian Install System Team members,
I just wonder what desktop environment will be chosen as a default for Debian
Jessie.
As for now, it's still GNOME 3.
Did you finally reject that "Xfce-by-default" commit:

after upgrading the whole 'console-setup' package from 1.82 to 1.87 version,

IMHO, it's a bad upgrade behavior and such

I've noticed this behavior on 2 Debian installations;
it occured on package upgrade (1.82 -> 1.87) only

Here it comes again, on 1.87 -> 1.88 upgrade...
Looks like it ignores settings in '/etc/default/keyboard'
and rewrites them with values stored somewhere else (???)

Dear Maintainer,
'task-lxde-desktop' package depends on 'task-desktop';
'task-desktop' recommends 'libreoffice';
therefore, to make LibreOffice look decently, 'task-lxde-desktop' should
recommend 'libreoffice-gtk' (just as 'task-xfce-desktop' does).

Hello again,
the changes in 3.11 are somewhat pointless;
as for now, 'task-ssh-server':

openssh-client [and it's pointless, because 'openssh-server' already _depends_

It's fixed in tasksel 3.13 -- look at the bug #683345.
Until tasksel 3.13 reaches Debian testing, affected users should consider doing
"safe" upgrades:
