Hi,
FJP: the mpt* drivers are already on place but they are differnet from
the drivers provided by LSI
linux-kernel-2.6.16.16 offers version 3.03.07 but it seems that those
drivers do not include support for some cards

Hi,
I just installed linux-source-2.6.16-14, build a kernel-image and it
mpt* support is working.
So problem is that d-i still uses 2.6.15 which seems to support the mpt*
cards but only when the harddisks are not in an RAID array
It would be really great if this could be solved towards release
Hi Joey,
I've forgotten to mention that it is an AMD64 which haven't been build

Hi Chris,
problem was that d-i just said "Unable to install grub/lilo"
the correct behavior would be to claim "Unable to fetch ..."
