The order of the items is the order in which they are typically done.
Since a media check is in general unnecesary and a total waste of
time, it belongs where it is, in the same place as 'launch a shell'.

Actiually I read it again. Someone did try, and it did not work.
The only thing that worked was disabling the floppy controller in the
BIOS
