i fail to preseed a de-latin1-nodeadkeys keymap into the Wheezy
d-i. Having a de deadkeys in d-i would be acceptable but not in the
final system.
When i put
language=en country=DE locale=en_US.UTF-8
on the tftp command line i get a german deadkeys layout. Loading a
preseed.cfg wi

I tried today to install from the official Debian 7.0 i386 installer (netinst
iso image) from a USB stick.
From a USB3 port the system boots but then the installer fails at the cdrom
detection phase.
Using a USB2 port fixes the problem.

8 installed. The hard disks are an 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD. I have a few
