As of yesterday's Daily build #4, sound still doesn't work on this machine. A check of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base-blacklist.conf found that snd-pcsp is still the only file blacklisted. Blacklisting the snd-aoa files produced the same result as before. I also tried out the weekly build of debian-t

My best guess is that this is an installation over an existing Debian system, and the partition has not been reformatted. So /var/lib/dpkg/ will contain various stuff from the old system which confuses dpkg. -- see shy jo signature.asc Description: Digital signature
