The udeb does not get a correct dependency on libc6-udeb, but instead

Personally I would recommend a switch to debhelper for the packaging as

I found this a very interesting observation. In fact I just implemented
support in GRUB to build USB-capable CD images, using this approach. You
just need to dd them:
$ dd if=mini.iso of=/dev/sdb
You will need 1.98~20091221-1 (which I just uploaded to sid), plus attached

The basic reason is that the control file does not set the correct package
There are only a few udebs left that still depend on libc6 rather than
libc6-udeb. In most cases the reason is simply that they have not been
uploaded since glibc got support for creating the correct dependencies.
A binNMU should solve this.
I'm therefore requesting a binNMU for the following so
Hey,
I'm using grub2 to load the hd-media vmlinuz and initrd.gz from a USB flash
drive, but I have the iso image for Ubuntu (in addition to that of Debian)
on the drive a well. When I boot from the USB, debian-installer
automatically selects the Ubuntu iso image instead of the Debian one. Is
