I've reviewed all packages we track and droped the ones I belive
aren't suitable for Lenny release since had many changes on it since
last migrated version. Obviously if you or anyone disagree with that

I guess I can find them in an

Retried using "boot: install console=/dev/ttyS0,9600" instead of just
"boot: install". NOW IT WORKS!!
Kernel boot messages say;
console handover: boot [earlyprom0] -> real [ttyS0]
... instead of ...
console handover: boot [earlyprom0] -> real [tty0]
