I have found the problem.
It is /dev/hda4 which is ending with 60801 after the last track 30401.
For fdisk this is not a problem, but cfdisk will not open the partitions.
So i fixed the problem with fdisk ans now the partitions are recognized.
BUT i have some problems at the partitioning:

The instllation can't be done because the existing partitions where not found

I have installed Debian Etch using the software raid setup from the installer.
As a guide i have used the following link:

but instead of SATA disks I have used two IDE disks.

I should add that cdrom-detect in the Sarge and Etch installers had no problem
