I am trying to create a customized installation disk with the ability
to create encrypted root filesystem. In my test installations, I noticed
that the filesystem type is not set properly when I choose to reformat
filesystems in debian installer.
This is what I am doing:
1. While doing a

When I have finish installed Debian on my System, it’s cannot boot into linux.
It’s wrongly install the Kernel version to 2.6.8-3-k7-smp. Since my pc is intel
processor.

Some facts:
- Target system: VMware Server
- Used the lastest daily netboot build of d-i (2007-02-25)
- Etch expert install
- Pretty default selection: en_US locale, guided part,
standard system (tasksel), LILO.
I ended up with a working etch system. Though I had to force the
installation

I tried booting into expertgui and using a different mirror
(ftp://download.xs4all.nl/debian/), which I know has a valid Release.gpg
file, but alas, same problem.
